Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Do It (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Do It is a personal task management application for iPhone and Apple Watch that allows you to capture, organise, prioritise, and complete tasks. The Service may integrate with third-party services such as Google Calendar with your permission.

Third-Party Services

Do It integrates with Google Calendar through the Google API. When you connect Google Calendar, your use of that integration is also subject to Google's Terms of Service and the Google API Services User Data Policy. Disconnecting Google Calendar does not affect the rest of your use of Do It.

Your Account

You sign in to Do It using your Google account or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorised use at derek@do-it.derekfidler.com.

Your Content

You retain full ownership of all tasks, notes, and data you create in Do It. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not sell, share, or use your content for any purpose other than delivering the Service.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Misuse or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service
• Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code from the Service
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or unlawful content

Service Availability

We aim to keep Do It available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service with reasonable notice where practicable.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Do It and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

Data Protection

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law, including the UK GDPR and EU GDPR. You have rights over your personal data including access, rectification, erasure, and portability.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request deletion of your account and data by contacting us at derek@do-it.derekfidler.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
